Construction Site Compliance for Contractors & Builders
You've come to the right place if you're looking to learn how to protect the environment at a construction site. San Francisco Estuary Project, the San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board, and Bay Area Municipal Stormwater Programs have collaborated to develop trainings for contractors and builders to keep you in compliance.
In the fall of 2008, SFEP, in cooperation with the San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board, and Bay Area Municipal Stormwater Programs, will put on a series of three workshops around the Bay Area. At these workshops, you will learn:
- Regulations governing stormwater pollution
- Stormwater permit requirements for construction sites
- Best Management Practice (BMP)s to avoid stormwater pollution
- What to look for on a construction site to determine compliance with regulations
If you would like a customized stormwater training for a group of 20 or more staff, contact Jennifer Krebs at 510-622-2315 or jkrebs@waterboards.ca.gov or Debbi Egter Van Wissekerke at 510-622-2304 or degtervanwissekerke@waterboards.ca.gov
